  • This is a real problem in the military. Women service members are more at risk from fellow service members than the enemy, the numbers are estimated at 19,000 a year. There is a good documentary that played in Sundance this year called The Invisible War.....and it's heart wrenching.

  • Her mother couldn't take her because that was the stipulation when she took her daughter's kids in. Take in the daughter and the kids would probably end up in foster care.

  • So glad he has insurance, my son does not qualify for any insurance in this country because of a pre-existing condition (born with)....seems unfair that a man who gets all of this wonderful health care at his age feels that my twenty something son is undeserving..... but that's the American way.

  • I don't know the whole story but I wonder about all the opinions stating she is selfish. Men, for years have "left" their families for their jobs ......gone off to the military (sanctioned abandonment by the government) and that's all ok.
